Silicon valley startup lands 26-year security executive
(March 15th, 2013 11:11am PST) Cupertino, CA. Qolsys announces the hiring of veteran home security executive Ken Parker as Vice President of Sales. Parker brings a distinctive combination of extensive sales experience, account management and industry relationships in the home security and home control markets to his role at Qolsys.
With more than 26 years of experience in security sales and a deep knowledge of the industry, Parker has a focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships. He has been involved in all aspects of the security business, possessing extensive industry experience in business development and strategic account management which he will use to build a sales team at Qolsys.

He joins Qolsys from UTC Fire and Security where he served as Strategic Accounts Sales Lead. Over the years he has worked in various capacities for GE Security, Interlogix and ITI, earning awards and accolades at every stop for sales performance and account management.

Parker will begin by helping launch the company at ISC West 2013 in Las Vegas, and will help determine the membership for Qolsys Foundation Club members, a group of dealers and distributors participating in a beta evaluation program who will provide feedback during the final stages of product development.
“I’m more excited to get to Vegas than I’ve been in years,” says Parker. “This product will change our entire approach to security and home control and I want everyone to know about it.”
