Washington, DC: Qolsys attended the Alarm.com Partner Summit in Washington D.C. as a Gold Sponsor, unveiling the shipping date for the IQ Panel soft launch and hosting a special training meeting for security and home control dealers.
At Alarm.com’s Partner Summit held at the Mayflower Renaissance in Washington D.C., Qolsys Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Hackett announced the soft launch of the highly anticipated IQ Panel, the world’s first true all-in-one security and home control platform.
The IQ Panel, built using a Mobile operating system, is a 7″ touchscreen with built-in panel camera and an innovative feature set designed to grow and improve over time via over-the-air software updates.
“We have been developing the IQ Solution over the past three years and we are very excited to announce the soft launch to our Foundation Club members,” says Hackett. “They have worked hard with their evaluation kits in helping us get to this point. It only makes sense to give them the first opportunity to acquire the IQ Panel.”
The Foundation Club was established in May 2013 following ISC West 2013 and is comprised of a cross section of dealers and distributors across the nation who were invited to participate in a beta evaluation program.
“Many Foundation Club members were present in our training room at the ADC event” says Hackett. “The enthusiasm and anticipation was apparent.”
The Alarm.com Partner Summit is an annual opportunity for Alarm.com dealers to get specific training, hear messages about innovation and developing technology, and network with other dealers and selected Alarm.com authorized manufactures and serve providers.
“It was our first year attending,” says Hackett. “We kicked it off by sponsoring a special reception at the Sequoia Washington Harbor on the first night and wrapped it up with out soft launch announcement. It couldn’t have been a better event for us.”
