IQ Flood
The IQ Flood detects the presence of water and reports it to the IQ Panel before serious damage occurs. An essential part of a security and smarthome system, it can be placed under sinks, near bathtubs and aquariums or at the base of water heaters. Using ultra-sensitive hydro-detection technology, an alert is sent to the IQ Panel, triggering the siren and sending a message to the user’s smartphone as well as the central station.
The IQ Flood possesses an 8-10 year battery life is now available at Qolsys distributors across North America.
IQ Mini Door/Window Extended
The IQ Mini Door/Window Extended takes the powerful IQ Mini Door/Window released earlier this year and adds a terminal block for easy wiring of external contacts for greater flexibility in a variety of installations, including looping multiple zones together or navigating challenging locations such as ornate molding.
“The board design for the IQ Mini Door/Window Extended is the foundation for multiple devices, including several in beta testing,” says Hackett. “Using our innovative framework we can improve performance of sensors and devices across our entire portfolio.”
Like the IQ Mini Door/Window, the circuit board of the IQ Mini Door/Window Extended has been redesigned for better range, battery life, communication and performance.
