New IQ Panel with Onboard Legacy Radio Bridges Install Base with Future Sensor Technology
SEPTEMBER 19, 2018 – SAN JOSE, CA. –Qolsys, the leading provider of security and smarthome technology, announced today a new model of the IQ Panel 2 Plus will be available on Monday, October 1. This IQ Panel 2 Plus supports Dual SRF featuring PowerG’s industry leading range, remote programming and encryption with a radio compatible with legacy 345 MHz sensors (Honeywell/2Gig).

The IQ Panel 2 Plus was previously released with PowerG and 319 MHz, by adding the 345 MHz model the IQ Panel 2 lineup now supports the two most prominent legacy wireless ecosystems in the industry. In addition, a model supporting Dual SRF with 433 MHz (DSC) will be available soon.

Every IQ Panel 2 ships with Qolsys 2.2 software, including several new features like Easy Install Wizard; Live View, the ability to view supported Alarm.com video cameras on the screen; and Live Answer, giving end users the ability to answer their SkyBell Video Doorbell from the IQ Panel’s 7” HD interface inside the home. Live Answer will also work with Live View cameras that have voice capability, such as the Alarm.com 522 indoor camera.
