September 25, 2018 – SAN JOSE, CA. –Qolsys, the leading provider of security and smarthome technology, announced today the IQ Panel 2 Plus received certification for operation on AT&T’s nationwide cellular network with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) including support for 2-way voice.

VoLTE, or Voice over LTE certification, produces better quality calls due to its greater voice and data capacity as well as the ability to use more bandwidth to make calls with higher quality audio traveling in both directions. In addition, the latest network technologies include the ability to use voice and data at the same time; improved network efficiency, which translates into better overall service and an improved user experience.
AT&T was named the best network according to GWS OneScore in September 2018. Unlike other benchmarking rankings, GWS Best Network OneScore takes into account voice, packet data, video, coverage, and reliability metrics, and combines them into a single score that highlights the overall performance of each network. The testing includes results from 501 markets in all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, representing 94% of Americans.
